Bhubaneswar, Jan. 22 -- In an unfortunate turn of events, ten army personnel were killed and seven others injured after a bulletproof Army vehicle plunged into a nearly 200-foot-deep gorge in the Bhaderwah area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir. The tragic accident occurred on Thursday as the vehicle was moving towards a high-altitude post, officials said.

According to officials, the Army vehicle was carrying a total of 17 personnel when the driver reportedly lost control on the mountainous road. The vehicle skidded off the route and fell into a deep gorge near the Khani Top area of Bhaderwah, leading to heavy casualties among those onboard.
