Bhubaneswar, Jan. 8 -- A resurfaced video from Bengaluru showing a traffic police constable slapping a two-wheeler rider during a routine traffic enforcement drive has sparked widespread outrage online. Though the incident occurred last October, the footage has once again brought police conduct and accountability into sharp public focus.
According to a report, the incident took place on October 13, 2025, near the busy Silk Board junction during a traffic enforcement drive aimed at curbing violations of one-way traffic rules. The drive began shortly after 11 am, following verbal instructions issued to traffic personnel across the city.
