Bhubaneswar, Feb. 9 -- A disturbing incident of gun violence shocked Punjab on Monday after a male student allegedly shot dead his woman classmate inside a classroom at Mai Bhago Law College in Tarn Taran. The accused is said to have been upset after the woman repeatedly rejected his marriage proposals and recently got engaged to another man. The entire incident was captured on the college's CCTV cameras.

According to police, the accused, identified as Prince Raj from Mallian village, entered the classroom with a bag shortly before classes began.
