Bhubaneswar, Feb. 17 -- Tensions rose in and outside the KIIT University campus in Bhubaneswar after a B. Tech third-year female international student allegedly took her own life inside one of the hostels on Sunday evening.

Amid protests and a slew of controversial decisions made by the university management, a video clip, purportedly from inside the same hostel where the deceased resided, captured intense moments of heated discussions between teachers and students as well as a xenophobic remark that has now gone viral.
