Bhubaneswar, June 24 -- The city bus services in the State's capital was affected today due to a strike called by the staff of 'Mo Bus' over delay in payment of salary.

As per reports, during the cease-work agitation, hundreds of 'Mo Bus' staff did not allow buses to move out of the depot near SUM Hospital.

They alleged that during their recruitment the State government had promised a salary of Rs 13,000 per month, but the same was never paid to them. Though benefits of ESI and EPF were also promised, nothing has been done till date. Besides, there is no fixed date for payment of the salary, the agitators stated.
