Bhubaneswar, Dec. 25 -- Amid the uproar over Atul Subhash's suicide and the ensuing debate on the misuse of dowry laws, a separate case has emerged involving a so-called "Looteri Dulhan," who allegedly swindled Rs.1.25 crore through divorce settlements over the past decade.
According to an NDTV report, the accused, identified as Seema, alias Nikki, from Uttarakhand, married three men since 2013, ending each marriage and securing large sums in maintenance.
As per reports, Seema first married a businessman from Agra in 2013 and later filed a case against his family, ultimately receiving Rs.75 lakh as part of a settlement.
