The incident, which has now gone viral, shows how a quick-thinking crowd turned the tables on a would-be criminal.

Reports indicate that the man attempted to snatch a passenger's mobile phone through the window of a moving bus. Confident he could escape, he didn't expect the quick reactions of the passengers inside. But the thief's plan backfired almost immediately, as passengers quickly grabbed hold of him, preventing him from slipping away.
