Bhubaneswar, Jan. 23 -- Another tragic road accident involving a government-operated Ama Bus was reported on Nabakalevar Road in Puri on Friday morning, after a bus allegedly ran over a woman, triggering protests by local residents.

According to reports, the CRUT-operated Ama Bus, travelling from Matiapada to Atharnala, hit the woman, causing serious injuries to her leg. She was immediately rushed to Puri Medical. Considering the severity of her condition, doctors later referred her to AIIMS for advanced treatment.
