Balasore, Aug. 15 -- In what appears to be a case of medical negligence, family members of a minor boy accused a lady doctor posted at Gopi Kishan Bhatta Health Centre here of declaring their child dead while he was still alive. The deceased is a 11-year-old boy, Sheikh Haleem, son of Sheikh Babula of Rajpur village under Jaleswar police limits.
As per sources, the minor boy was admitted to the health centre today in a critical condition, but was taken back home soon after the doctor declared him dead. The family members however later claimed that the boy was still alive, stating that he was breathing and that they discovered body movement.
