Hong Kong, Feb. 20 -- India LCC, SpiceJet, is considering acquisition of wide-body jets to broaden its network to long-haul destinations, SpiceJet managing director and CEO, Ajay Singh, told an audience at Aviation Festival Asia 2025 this week. Read More The expansion might be necessary because of unprecedented rising air travel demand and also because competitors are planning long-haul expansion, Singh said. "We are discussing with major manufacturers and we are discussing wide-body orders with them as well. We need to be prepared for that. We are certainly looking at that," he said.
