Hong Kong, Nov. 19 -- China Southern Airlines (CSA) said passengers carried last month increased 6.3%, to 15.6 million, from the 14.7 million air travellers a year ago. CSA's regional air travellers increased 7.4% to 161,670 customers. Passenger load factor climbed 1.1 percentage points, to 87.9% in the month and passenger capacity rose 7.5%. At October 31, CSA had 959 aircraft, an increase of three from 956 on September 30. CSA added two A320neos, one 737 MAX 8s and one C919 to its fleet in the month, while retiring one A319.
