Hong Kong, March 31 -- The Thai government's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), based around a planned aerotropolis at U-Tapao Airport, has attracted a new joint venture, BOSA-Thayaan Aircraft Services (BTAS). Establishment of the JV between the UK's BOS Aerospace Ltd and Thayaan Aviation Consultants Group was supported by the Thai government's incentives for the EEC, a development that already has attracted an Airbus and Thai Airways International partnership that is scheduled to open early next year.

Other projects planned for the U-Tapao Aeropolis are cargo logistics, aerospace manufacturing and flight training joint ventures.
