Hong Kong, Dec. 13 -- Six leading Japanese companies will jointly review recycling methods for reuse of CO2 from sources, including exhaust gases, to sustainable aviation fuels (SAF).

Among other companies participating in the review are Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corp. and Toshiba Corporation, lead researchers in producing new technologies for sufficient supply of SAF from production to delivery to commercial aircraft.

"Various eco-friendly innovations will be needed to achieve the CO2 emissions reductions targets indicated in Japan's Nationally Determined Contribution for the Paris agreement on Climate Change," a group statement said.
