New Delhi, June 5 -- A day after a delegation from the Centre held discussion with Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das over implementation of Government of India's flagship health protection scheme, Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Harsh Vardhan today urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to join the programme.

The Union Health Minister shot off a letter to Patnaik in this regard. Besides, the Minister has also wrote to the Chief Ministers of Delhi, Telangana, and West Bengal urging them to join the health protection scheme.
