Polasara, Oct. 27 -- Panic gripped Polasara in Odisha's Ganjam district last night as unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at multiple places across the town.

As many as two persons, including a staffer of Polasara hospital, sustained injuries in the incident.

According to reports, two bike-borne miscreants committed the offence around 8.30 pm. The duo initially hurled crude bomb at Bazar Sahi Chhak and later repeated the act at Balighai Chhak and Ranipada Chhak.

Anil Mallick (39), the hospital staffer who was present near a liquor shop at Bazar Sahi Chhak, sustained critical injuries on his right eye. He was admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for treatment.
