Puri, Aug. 21 -- The general darshan at Srimandir will be prohibited for 5 hours here on Wednesday for conduct of Rahurekha Lagi ritual of deities on the auspicious Rekha Panchami (fifth day of Krushna Paksha of Bhadraba month).

A special ritual will be held for 'Rahurekha Lagi' at Srimandir and there will be no darshan of Lord Jagannath between 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm, informed the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

On the auspicious the day, the faces of deities will be adorned with special golden Rahurekhas (strips) of 3-finger width following Bhogamandapa in the afternoon.
