The Supreme Court has imposed an interim ban on advertisements of Patanjali Ayurved's medicines. This decision was made in response to a petition filed by the Indian Medical Association and others against Patanjali for making misleading claims that its medicines can cure certain diseases without any empirical evidence to back up those claims.
