ADB passes half-way mark in $14 Bn food security commitment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is on schedule to deliver its commitment to invest $14 billion by 2025 to improve food security and support measures to ease the food crisis in Asia and the Pacific.
As of the end of 2023, ADB had alreadycommitted $7.6 billion, or about 52 per cent, of the total allocation. Inresponse to food security challenges brought by climate change and biodiversity loss in the region, ADB announced this funding commitment in September 2022 over 4 years.
