Guwahati, June 10 -- A new study shows that eating a lot of ultra-processed foods may increase the risk of depression. The research, published in a medical journal, adds to evidence that what we eat can affect how we feel mentally.
More Processed Foods, More RiskResearchers followed adults over several years. They found that people who ate the most ultra-processed foods were more likely to feel depressed than those who ate more natural, whole foods. This link remained even after considering factors like age, exercise, income, and general diet.
