India, Nov. 6 -- Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday said that the state government was in touch with Germany and Middle East countries for the employment of skilled workforce from here.

According to him, Japan has already started hiring from Tripura.

"Under the specified skilled workers scheme, we have already sent six persons to Japan under a very good placement contract. Another batch of four individuals is ready to depart soon. Apart from that, a total of 60 people are being imparted professional training on the Japanese language so that they can adapt easily over there," the Chief Minister told a toolkit distribution programme for resettled Bru migrants in Tripura.
