India, Nov. 21 -- Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday condemned the violence that occurred at Khumulwng, stating that the incident reflected a "culture of arson, terror and political intimidation."

He said the Bharatiya Janata Party does not accept such methods and that appropriate action would be taken.

Saha visited the houses of BJP workers that were vandalised on Thursday, reportedly by supporters of the Tipra Motha Party at the headquarters of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council.

He interacted with affected families and assessed the damage.
