INDIA, Dec. 2 -- The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has introduced a new stoppage for the Agartala-Silchar-Agartala Express at Pencharthal (PEC) Railway Station in Tripura, a move aimed at strengthening regional connectivity and improving travel convenience for passengers.
The new stop was inaugurated on Monday at Pencharthal Railway Station in the presence of Tripura's Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma and senior railway officials.
Under the revised schedule, Train No. 15663 (Agartala-Silchar) will halt at Pencharthal at 14:01 hours and depart at 14:03 hours. On the return journey, Train No. 15664 (Silchar-Agartala) will arrive at 13:13 hours and leave at 13:15 hours.
