India, Nov. 27 -- Radhika Chettri, a student of Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) at Medhavi Skills University (MSU) in Sikkim, has secured a place on Team India for the WorldSkills Asia 2025 competition, scheduled from November 27 to 29 in Chinese Taipei.

She enters the international arena after winning a Silver Medal in Health & Social Care at IndiaSkills 2024, marking Sikkim's first medal at the national competition and establishing MSU as India's youngest university to win at IndiaSkills 2024.

This is the first time a student from Sikkim or the northeast will represent India in the Health & Social Care category at WorldSkills Asia.
