India, Dec. 12 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Friday concluded her two-day official visit to the border state of Manipur after launching development projects worth over Rs 1,500 crore, officials said.
On the second and final day of her maiden visit to the state, President Murmu visited Senapati district, which borders Nagaland to the north, and inaugurated six development projects.
She also laid the foundation stones for five other projects in the district.
Among the inaugurated projects were a model residential school for Rs 25 crore, two upgraded Primary Health Centres costing Rs 10 crore, and two Bailey Bridges constructed at Rs 11 crore.
