GUWAHATI, April 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address a massive BJP election rally in Assam on April 17, coinciding with the vibrant celebrations of Rongali Bihu.

Sources from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) revealed that PM Narendra Modi will visit Assam on April 17 to address an election rally at Bidanchal ground in Borkura, located in Nalbari district of Assam under the Barpeta Lok Sabha constituency.

Preparations are underway to ensure the success of the rally, with an expected turnout of over two lakh attendees.

Local MLA and Assam minister Jayanta Malla Baruah has reportedly been tasked to oversee the preparations for the Prime Minister's visit.
