New Delhi, May 10 -- US President Donald Trump on Saturday announced that India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire.

President Trump announced in a post on the social media platform TruthSocial.

This development follows closely after India reportedly issued an ultimatum stating that any future terror attack on its soil would be considered an "act of war."

In his TruthSocial post, the American President wrote, "After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE.
