India, Jan. 1 -- Students from the Northeast on Wednesday held a protest at Jantar Mantar, demanding justice for Tripura native Anjel Chakma, who died after sustaining stab injuries in Dehradun last month.
Hundreds of students participated in the demonstration organised by the Northeast Students' Society of Delhi University (NESSDU), along with other student bodies, seeking a comprehensive probe into the killing and stronger safeguards against racial violence.
