India, Feb. 23 -- Nagaland's Dimapur Railway Station under the Lumding Division of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has been awarded the prestigious "Eat Right Station" certification by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

The certification, valid from October 24, 2025, to October 23, 2027, recognises the station's adherence to food safety, hygiene, and healthy food practices for passengers.

The recognition follows a comprehensive audit of food stalls, catering units, and food handlers at the station, ensuring compliance with strict standards for hygienic food preparation, safe storage, proper waste management, and availability of nutritious food options.
