Guwahati, April 27 -- The 5 Tribes Committee on Review of Reservation Policy, representing the Angami, Ao, Lotha, Rengma, and Sumi tribes of Nagaland, on Saturday issued a 30-day ultimatum to the state government demanding immediate action on the long-pending review of the Nagaland Job Reservation Policy for Backward Tribes.
The ultimatum expressed strong dissatisfaction with the government's inaction despite a prior memorandum submitted on September 20, 2024, seeking urgent intervention.
