India, Nov. 21 -- Nagaland continues to face a high unemployment rate, with over 74,500 youth registered in employment exchanges across the state as of July 2025, according to the organisers of a job fair held in Kohima on Friday.
A one-day job fair was organised at the Regional Employment Exchange, Kohima, bringing together job seekers, employers, and key placement agencies on a single platform.
The event was jointly conducted by the Regional Employment Officer, Kohima; the Sub-Regional Employment Officer (National Career Service for ST/SC), Kohima; and Don Bosco Placement Network (AIDA), Dimapur.
More than 250 candidates attended the fair, of whom 74 were shortlisted for employment opportunities across various sectors.
