Dimapur, Jan. 27 -- As per the directive of the All India Congress Committee, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Monday held a protest rally at Congress Bhavan in Nagaland's Kohima as part of the ongoing 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan Abhiyan'.

Speaking at the rally, Nagaland Lok Sabha MP and NPCC president S Supongmeren Jamir said the protest was organised in strong opposition to the BJP's remarks against Ambedkar, the father of the Constitution, and the ruling party's alleged attempts to undermine the Constitution.

He asserted that the Congress party is committed to protecting constitutional values and ensuring justice and equality for all in the country.
