India, Feb. 1 -- Naga political groups on January 31 marked the NSCN Raising Day with commemorative programmes, tributes to fallen Naga heroes, and appeals for unity, discipline, and renewed dedication to the Naga cause.

At the 47th Raising Day held at Camp Hebron, NSCN (I-M) chairman Q. Tuccu urged members to embrace selfless service, discipline, and a renewed commitment to the organisation's ideals. Extending greetings on the occasion, Tuccu paid homage to those who had laid down their lives for the Naga cause. He said the growth and continuity of NSCN were rooted in the dedication and sacrifices of its members and described the organisation's development as the product of decades of shared vision and collective effort.
