Guwahati, June 11 -- The Centre's interlocutor for the Naga peace talks, AK Mishra, is actively engaging with various Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) and the NSCN-IM, signaling renewed efforts to resolve the long-standing Naga Political Issue.
Mishra, who arrived in Chumoukedima on Tuesday evening, held crucial closed-door meetings and also met with NSCN-IM general secretary Th Muivah on Wednesday.
In a significant shift, Naga groups are vowing to set aside past differences to achieve an early and inclusive solution.
