DIMAPUR, Feb. 20 -- Beginning with 32 learners in 2001 to over 10,000 learners today, offering a variety of programmes, the IGNOU's Regional Centre in Kohima, Nagaland observed the 37th convocation of IGNOU at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima on Tuesday.

Highlighting the varsity's monumental role in catering to the educational needs of over 3.0 million learners across India and abroad.

Dr A Nshoga, director of higher education Nagaland, who was the guest of the honour, commended IGNOU's efforts in extending higher education learning to marginalized and socio-economically disadvantaged groups, differently-abled persons, and even inmates in correctional facilities nationwide.
