KOHIMA, April 12 -- The Eastern Nagaland People's Organization (ENPO) expressed concern over the delay in finalizing the Framework Agreement on the Frontier Nagaland Issue (FNT).

The ENPO noted that despite the ministry of home affairs (MHA) presenting the draft MoS for FNT to the Nagaland government in December 2023, feedback was not provided to the central government as of the set deadline of December 31, 2023.

This delay, despite commitments to resolve the FNT before the election model code of conduct (MCC), has led to a setback, preventing its realization before the Lok Sabha 2024 elections.
