India, Nov. 26 -- A Core Committee meeting on the Thenzawl Peace City project was held on Thursday at the Chief Minister's Conference Hall, chaired by Chief Minister Lalduhoma, to review progress on the proposed Greenfield City development under the initiative.

Lalmalsawma Pachuau, Secretary of Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation, informed the committee that the state could receive around Rs 150 crore for thematic Greenfield City projects under the SASCI Urban Planning Reforms.

Funding will be allocated through a challenge-mode selection process.

The Greenfield City proposal within the Thenzawl Peace City area, involving the Tourism and AH&Vety Departments, is being considered under this funding opportunity, prompting the meeting....
