India, Jan. 29 -- As part of the 37th National Road Safety Month being observed in India, the Manipur Government intensified road safety awareness activities to promote responsible driving and reduce traffic accidents, resulting in significant fines.
The state traffic police reported filing 265 cases, leading to over Rs 3,48,500 in fines.
The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways organizes National Road Safety Month annually in January to promote road safety awareness and reduce accidents.
