India, Jan. 26 -- The Manipur government announced multiple development projects and welfare schemes for Pherzawl, the state's least developed district bordering Myanmar, Assam, and Mizoram, predominantly inhabited by the Kuk-Zo-Hmar-Mozo tribes.

The announcement was made on the 77th Republic Day as Deputy Commissioner Mannuamching unfurled the National Flag and took the salute from parade contingents led by SDPO Parbung Jangkholen Haokip at Pherzawl Public Ground.
