India, Jan. 23 -- Security forces dismantled a temporary camp allegedly set up by suspected insurgents and recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives during an anti-insurgency operation in Imphal East district, police said on Friday.
The operation was carried out on Thursday at Uchol village and the adjoining foothill areas under Andro police station limits. On noticing the movement of security personnel, the suspects fled the area, police said. No arrests were made during the operation.
