India, Jan. 21 -- In a targeted anti-insurgency operation, the Assam Rifles, in coordination with the Manipur Police and the Indian Army, apprehended a self-styled corporal of the outlawed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) at Sawombung Wairi in Imphal East district on Tuesday.
The arrested leader, Kangjam Milan Meetei-also known as Somendro, No. 1, and Ibungo (33), a resident of Sekmaijin Khunou Kangjam, Hiyanglam police station area, Kakching district-was found with documents and a mobile phone.
