Imphal, June 3 -- Central security forces and civil police in the joint search and anti-insurgency operations conducted on Monday discovered a temporary shelter camp set up by anti-social activists in Manipur's Kakching district, adjoining Churachandpur, an official stated on Tuesday.
The raid led to the recovery of a substantial cache of warlike stores, including IEDs, firearms, and ammunition.
Security forces carried out the joint operation based on a specific intelligence input about the presence of anti-socials in the Wangoo Naral Samtak Hill areas under Wangoo police station of the Kakching District, adjoining Churachandpur district, Manipur.
