India, Feb. 13 -- A one-day consultative meeting on "The Inclusion of Disability Sports in the Manipur State Sports Policy," held at Hotel Imphal on Thursday, underscored the need to upgrade sports infrastructure and create structured support systems for persons with disabilities.

The consultation on the inclusion of para sports in the State Sports Policy was organised by the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Manipur, in collaboration with NGOs working in the sector and in consultation with the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS).
