India, Jan. 23 -- Hundreds of Kuki-Zo women staged sit-in protests in Churachandpur and Kangpokpi districts of Manipur for the second consecutive day on Friday, demanding justice for victims of sexual violence and the killing of Kuki-Zo women during the ongoing crisis in the State.
The protests were organised by various women's and civil society groups in the two districts, which are predominantly inhabited by Kuki-Zo communities. The protesters also reiterated demands for a separate administrative arrangement.
