India, Jan. 21 -- In a series of coordinated operations, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and Manipur Police detected and neutralised Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along the Indo-Myanmar border, officials said.
Acting on intelligence inputs regarding the presence of anti-social elements, a joint team, assisted by a sniffer dog, conducted an operation near Border Pillars 72 and 73 in Chandel district, close to the LH Zangnomphai area. During the area domination and sanitisation operation, three IEDs were recovered in situ, defused, and subsequently neutralised.
