India, Jan. 13 -- The central security forces and Manipur Police commandos arrested an underground cadre alleged to have links with the Group of Five (G-5), an alliance of five proscribed outfits, in a separate operation on Monday.

The arrestee is accused of being involved in an explosion caused by a bomb attack at a fuel station in Moirang Thana Leikai in Bishnupur district of the state, officials reported on Tuesday.

Hijam Manichandra Singh (35), a resident of Waikhong Chingdong Leikai in Kakching district, was arrested from his hideout located at Komnao Makha Leikai area under Waikhong police station in Kakching district.
