India, Feb. 2 -- The Group of Five (G-5), an alliance of five proscribed underground outfits, has imposed an indefinite ban on the operation of two oil pumps in Manipur for refusing to provide its annual financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh each.

The G-5, comprising the outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP), Kanglei Yawol Kanba Lup (KYKL), People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak - Progressive (PREPAK-Progressive), and United National Liberation Front - Kopireng (UNLF-Kopireng group), has imposed the ban.It has been in effect since February 1, 2026, on two oil pumps: Sorojini Oil Pump, Wangbal in Kakching district, and M/S Elidas Fuel Station, Moirang Thana Leikai in Bishnupur district.
