India, Feb. 11 -- A joint team of central and state police in Manipur arrested four more cadres of the proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party - Apunba (KCP Apunba), reportedly involved in the bomb explosion incident at Lilong Chajing area under Singjamei Police Station, Imphal West district.

The state police reported that with these arrests, the total number of arrests in the case has risen to seven. Concerned officials are working closely with various state police forces to track and apprehend every member of the insurgent cadres involved in the blast.

The interrogation of previously arrested cadres led to additional arrests during three phases of operations conducted at the targeted insurgents' hideouts over the past three days.
