India, Jan. 27 -- Under the Vibrant Villages Programme Phase-II, funded by the central government, 16 border villages in Manipur's Tengnoupal district have been identified for critical infrastructure interventions (CII).
Baseline surveys for these villages have been completed, and 239 additional villages have been verified for key interventions, including roads, telecom connectivity, and livelihood-generation assets, District Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Yadav, IAS, said during the 77th Republic Day celebrations at Tengnoupal High School Ground.
