India, Feb. 3 -- Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary on Tuesday informed Parliament about the financial assistance provided to Manipur for flood relief and disaster management.
Responding to a question raised by Manipur MP Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, Chaudhary told the Lok Sabha that the Centre released around Rs 629.71 crore to Manipur during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 financial years. The funds were meant for relief related to natural disasters, including floods.
