INDIA, Dec. 3 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former party chief Rahul Gandhi met with leaders of the party's Assam unit on Tuesday to strategize for the upcoming assembly elections, review the Special Revision (SR) of electoral rolls, and discuss other critical state issues.

The meeting, held in Guwahati, was attended by Congress general secretary (organization) K. C. Venugopal, Pradesh Congress Committee chief Gaurav Gogoi, AICC in-charge Jitendra Singh, Congress Legislative Party leader Debabrata Saikia, and other senior party leaders.

Party sources said the discussions focused on election preparedness, voter list revisions, and strengthening the party's organizational outreach across Assam.
